So for RE I need to write down people's views on Euthanasia. (if you don't know what it is a painless killing of someone suffering from a painful disease)

So yeah basically what are your views on it?

I think you have to put another point of view in. So, personally, I'd agree with person who posted before me.

I do believe its legal in some countries and there have been a lot of high profile cases over the years. I saw one not too long ago on This Morning in which two daughters came on to speak about their dad who had locked in syndrome and wished to die

I think it's alright, but only in like extreme circumstances (major illnesses etc), not just legalized for anyone who is feeling slightly depressed. When you look at past cases of wives who have been imprisoned for "assisted suicide", IMHO I think it's a shame, because those people couldn't live like they were.

That wouldn't be a problem since it would only legalize the assisted suicide of someone who is experiencing "great pain or suffering". Euthanasia is Greek for "good death".

Euthanasia is currently legal in four American states and is legal eight other countries in the world. It legality in Mexico varies by region. It was once legal in an Australian state but that is no longer the case.

Personally I think only voluntary euthanasia is right because they can actually say if they want to die but if a person is in coma and one of their relatives might say they wanted to die but really they just want the money so yh

I only agree with euthanasia if the person has an illness that can't be cured, when they have a terrible quality of life.
If that person is in the right state of mind to say that they'd like to die, they should be able to do so.

I had to write a 6page essay on the topic for my law class so im quite familar.

Personally i believe it should only be aloud as said above with incurable diseases such as ALS / Lou Gehrig's disease. Although when you make something like this legal
its hard to say who can potentially do it as its hard to say yes you can die but no your disease isnt serious enough you have to live etc.. Also i believe Orgeon in the US, Belgium, and the netherlands all have it legal or decriminalized but when i was doing research for my paper mostly in the Netherlands there was alot of issues that go on behind the scenes with rule-breaking etc.

I think its a really hot-topic and is kinda hard to just give a final say on it because there are rather good points for both sides.

I believe it's right in certain cases,if there is an absolute 0 chance of revial and all family agree i believe it is ethical.

But i don't know if i myself could make a descion like that.
