    Default [+REP] Feedback Needed!

    heeeeey

this is the instrumental for a new song i'm working on

before i record it i want to improve this, as i think there is always room for improvement, so i would love if if you all could give constructive criticism and general feedback to help me.

if it's just not a style of music you enjoy and you have nothing decent to offer please just don't reply

PLEASE ignore the horrible 'harry b' watermark thing, that's just me being scared that someone, for some reason, decides to steal it, god knows why they would but you can never be too careful

I really like this, and it'll sound a lot better once it's actually recorded. My breakdown...

First section - Love the chord progressions, but plain chords can be a bit chuggy (will probably sound better once the vocals are over the top)
Next bit - HEAVY BASS LINES FTW (i so have my subwoofer out, pouding out the house ). It's really good!
@ 2.00, the link is a bit fuzzy, I like the idea of almost stopping but it sort of goes "pwffhh" if you get what I mean LOL
@ 3.00, the transition between sections doesn't seem as fluent as the other ones at all, but I like the little returning of the original theme, gives it a 'cyclic nature' (you can tell I'm a music student right? LOL)

Overall, I really like this, and even though it's not really my style, it's the sort of thing I could get into! What program did you use to write it? +rep

such an amazinggg response thank you +rep

i don't really know what you mean by pwfffhh is there any way you could possibly describe it differently?

and yes i was hoping someone would pick up on that just to check i'm not the only one that thinks that. i'm trying to work on the changing of the section so thank you does anybody have any suggestions on how i can do this so it doesn't sound so sudden?

well i wrote it on piano initially then i used fl studio and most of the instruments are different vsts i downloaded from around the internet. some people say fl studio is just a program for amateurs or whatever but thats all i am and i can make things like this that i am proud of so i'm not bothered.
