Alternative use for BT Hub Phone 1010?

I collected tons of PC parts off Freecycle earlier, and in that was a brand new boxed BT Hub Phone 1010.
I did also have a BT Home Hub 1.0, but that has no power supply, and I'm not buying a power supply for something that I don't think works.

What can I do with the Hub Phone? Can it be used for anything without the Hub?

I was thinking that. Wasn't sure if it could be used for a VoIP phone for Skype...
