I'm using a High Quality USB Microphone to record audio commentary and I am also having game audio input from a stereo mix. Would there be any way (software wise) to combine these two sources so I can record one source with both the sources combined?

Stereo mix is what you hear from your speakers correct? (Haven't used it in a while), if so, assuming you're using Vista or Windows 7 you could go into your audio properties, right click your Mic > Properties, somewhere in there should be a check box for Listen to this Device, that might do what you want, if not could you not just record them both into Audacity and output them as one audio file?

My microphone is USB. That can only be done if you are using a 3.5mm jack microphone. Gah, I really dont want to spend £50 on a mixer. I'm recording both the sources at the same time so I need them recorded live and recording them with different programs is hard because of syncing it up.
