I had like six ancient effigys but just swapped 'em for magic lamps that give you 5k xp in any skill. What exactly are they for and is it worth evolving them or whatever you do?

Neversoft, go to a dungoneering world and go the bank, require assistance i got like 24k range xp for a few mins work.

There are four stages, once you've completed the fourth stage you get a dragonkin lamp which is like a genie lamp but gives you much more exp (the higher your level in the skill you're using it on, the more exp you get).
