I'm meleeing but they are smashing through me I kill like 15 on full invent of food? My def is junk but still, is meleeing the best way or mage/range?

I'm not sure about in the tower, but there's a safepot in kuradel's dungeon to range them and quite a few people do that. I'd suggest getting an enhanced excallibur to boost your defence and heal you or just take a super set.

Yeah I agree with above. iIf you are getting hit too much then it's probably better to use a safespot - I also know there's a safespot in the Slayer Tower, but if you range them in Kuradal's Dungeon you can use the ferocious ring which increases each hit by 4 damage. By using throwing knives there the 40+ damage stacks up very nicely.

Obviously this person isn't using a safespot but as you can see using knives can get you very fast experience as well - around 80-100k/hour.

You used to be able to range safely in the tower, but it's awkward.

What armour are you using? take bunyip if you can.
