Is a quest required to play the mini game? I'd imagine so but I can't find what quests are needed. I need it for quick thieving xp.

Not sure about Sources garden, never heard of that, but Sorceress's Garden is pretty good but you need to complete Prince Ali's Rescue to do it

Nah it basically do-able in 5mins when you have all the items on you.
