    Default USB Dongle thing [REPZ+!!111]

I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this but whatever

For my PC upstairs I have like a USB Wifi Dongle thing and when I got it, it seemed good.

However, sometimes it can take the mick to load pages and videos and its getting a bit annoying.

It cost £10 and I was wondering if there are any high-speed cheap dongles out there?

    Thanks much!

Dongles aren't as dedicated or better as a router or modem so don't be expecting faster or as good speeds as them. What Network/ISP is it with ? 3 Mobile have a great internet speeds for mobile phones and dongles so give them a check out.

    Wrong kind of Dongle.

The likelihood is if it doesn't work great now, you won't get much better.

    Is your router 802.11n compatible?

If so, buy an 802.11n PCI or PCI-E wireless card. Check what sort your PC uses.

PCI and PCI-E are better to use for wifi than USB usually.

OK, Sky will have given you a router. If you could find it, give us the model number, we'll tell you.

Also, the PC in question would be nice to know. Then we can tell you whether you need PCI or PCI-E.

    Yes, please.

Judging by your PC specs, you should have PCI at least. If you can, open the side and tell me if you can see any of these white ports:
