Hey what's the currency in Turkey?
I'm going for a 10 day holiday there in June so I need an idea with how much money to take with me as spends. I have to take a separate £150 for the second installment of the Villa we're renting.

The Turks use Turkish Lira.
£150 pounds are 390.790 Lira.

Between £9-£50 it looks like
23.47 - 130.39 lira.

Isn't it a bit too early to judge how much you will need at the moment?
£150 for the Villa could mean anything at the moment. Are you taking £150 in cash to give to the Villa, or £150 in Turkish Lira?
Food varies so going off an estimate is a bit dodgy. What will you be doing while in Turkey? You could take £250-350 in Lira to Turkey, which provides you with 92 Turkish Lira a day (£35 a day). This should be fine for a day out with decent meals, assuming you're not going to be doing heavy activities everyday you're there.

Well it's a lads holiday. The holiday will consist of the odd meal, loads of alcoholic drinks, activities. Plus it's self catering..
I need £80 (pounds) to pay for the rest of the villa* and the remaining £70 for taxi to MAN Airport, from Turkey to our Villa then after the holiday a taxi back to the Airport.
You will need at least £700

Well they like to fleece tourists unsurprisingly so everything costs just a bit less than it does here. When thinking of cab fares, meals, drinks etc, just think of UK prices, but about 20% cheaper?
So a £10 meal would probably cost about £8 in Turkey for instance. Clothing is very cheap however, but all fake :L
Thanks for that Jordy. I'll rep you all tomorrow on my PC.
