    Default Busy tube times?

For those of you who live in London and use the tube or have ever used the tube perhaps you could help me?

I'm going to London next Saturday, and I was wondering what are the busiest times for the tube? I wanna miss it cause i've heard they're absolutely hectic.

Saturday's are usually full of tourists, so it's usually busy all day, I was in Central London the other Saturday and the tubes were okay until around midday then they are busy all afternoon in central london really, don't let the hecticness put you off, it's part of the London experience.

If you wanted to avoid the busiest lines avoid the piccadilly, northern and victoria lines but all get pretty busy. If you're going to Oxford Street go to Bond Street Station or Tottenham Court Road because Oxford Circus tube station on a saturday afternoon is a nightmare.

If you are going before midday you should be alright with the victoria line to oxford circus, however later on going back into oxford circus station, everytime I've seen it there have been hundreds and hundreds of people trying to file down the small stairs so it might be worth wandering over to Piccadilly Circus or Tottenham Court Road.

Saturdays are fine in the morning but if you want to return you'll probably struggle until about 8 or 9pm. It gets busy from about 11-12ish and then stays busy until about 8ish.
