Yep, he died but he was at the start of Fast and Furious 4, i'm very curious about this film. Of course, I'm going to watch it, watched every Fast and Furious movie more than 10 tens, the films never bore me.

Never really been a fan of Fast & Furious but the fact that Dwayne Johnson stars in the fifth sequel sells it for me!
