Just wanting to ask what amount if hits is good, since we have been open (1st March) we have reached 145k hits, and within the last week we have had on average 10-12k a day. Wondering if this is good.

There isn't really a defined amount. Personally I'd say that's pretty good considering you've only been open 22 days.

Install Google Analyrtics. Whatever tracking software you have now will count things like image requests as hits which I personally wouldn't. I only count pageviews as hits.

Second that. Although then it's possible to miss out results when people block Javascript (I think it's JS?) but other than that they provide pretty good statistics.

We are currently using CloudFlare to view all of our statistics. There has been MANY more page requests, near on triple.

    Hi,

I actually work for CloudFlare & I thought I would jump in with an explanation re: discrepancy between CloudFlare and Google Analytics. The difference is explained here. How we calculate hits can be found here. If a visitor has javascript turned off, it wouldn't register in GA.
