Anyone with a tragus piercing???

I got mine done on Friday and it's still really, really, really swollen. Like, it's pushing up against the two sides of the labret.
The piercing wasn't exactly good to be fair. She put the needle in fine and then spent about five minutes poncing around because she couldn't get the labret in because my tragus was 'too thick' and by the end I had a stupidly bloody ear.
By friday night it was fine and then yesterday, when I was cleaning it, the ball fell off and because it was still a bit swollen it was incredibly difficult to put the ball back on.

swollen that bad? that can't be right
i got mine done with a GUN and mine was fine, it only hurt if i slept on it or whatever
although with regards to taking it out/changing it it HURT LIKE A ***** especially getting the backs off
i ended up having to wear all my earrings in it with no backs

so er i don't exactly know what you're asking, but what you're describing isn't right
i mean mine was fine after about 4 hours

Just wanted to see if anyone knew how to like, get the swelling down a bit.

Okay, update on it.
The ball fell off today and, because it's such a small labret, my ear had pretty much swollen over it so I couldn't even get the bar to the other side of my ear so i couldn't put the ball back on.
I went to the place and it was closed so instead i got a bigger labret, about 10mm rather then like, 6mm, and swapped it.
