I still don't think you should brand him hostage yet, it's not fair as he hasn't actually been caught, plus it gives away the storyline as you know he's going to get caught, otherwise he wouldn't be named Hostage. Maybe his name is like Harold but you just spelt it wrong.
I'm also curious as to why a fighter would want to take someone hostage, what art has he learned? Like Judo, karate, ninjutsu. Is he a spy, or an assassin?
