Hey,
Is it possible to unfilter one or two words that actually have other meanings, such as a name? I'd love to post regular updates on my website in the website section but I can't because the word is filtered. Friends also call me **** so it's a nick name as well as my website it's really frustrating, those who abuse the word should suffer, not the person who doesn't mean harm.

Fair enough my name isn't **** it's Richard but everyone calls me ****. It's even stated in the english dictionary "A male name given, form of Richard". I understand why it's filtered but I don't find it fair on the people who use it in the same context as I'm using it.

Willy is unfiltered so I don't see why **** should, both of them are names stated in the English dictionary.

was unfiltered once but got filtered again because unfiltering it didn't work out. Plus loads of people were insulting me cos I got the namechange

You're allowed to avoid the filter in cases such as this, I've enquired before about dual meaning words.

Personally i think there should be an option to turn filter on or off, would be a lot easier. Although i think it's been suggested before.

I'm sure if your name was D!ck (I know mine isn't but D!ck is an actual name) you'd be pissed. For example, if stephen was a slang term for something sexual and they filtered your name, would you be pissed?

What if stephen was another slang term for a sexual reference that started tomorrow? would you filter it or just infract them users abusing it because I know for a fact you'd infract that user rather than filtering the name.

D!ck is short for Richard. You can call the person Richard if need be.
