Default .htaccess to check for sessions?

    Hi,

    I have a small question...

    Here's my situation:
I'm making a website & I want to ensure a customer's directory is secure so only they can view their files. Now atm Im using htaccess to sort this, but I dont want to be showing another login box after theyve already logged in.

Is there a way of getting htaccess or another method to check if they have a session set to allow access to their directory?

    Thanks, Lew.

    I managed to fix this.

I made PHP generate the htaccess files where needed, then in the url put http://username:[email protected]/directory and it worked

    Thanks, Lew.
