The lyrics are completely bad, I'm sure a monkey can write better lyrics. Here is a example, "waitin for the bus.. here comes my friends... My friends are on the back seat, and on the front seat.. which seat shall i take..??? it's friday friday gotta get down on friday", and it only gets worse... The video is a lolable too, with a 12 year old kid driving a car.
I respect her though... She can actually sing, from the interviews I've seen. She actually brought the song too and didn't write it her self. Her parent's paid something like 100k just for it. And I'll have to admit, I like the, "it's friday, friday, gotta get down on friday".. but the rest is complete wtf moments.Last edited by Marbian; 29-03-2011 at 07:20 AM.

It is what I don't like about today's music.
I like it when a band, artist, can write their own songs, although I understand a lot can't.
Even worse is that most bands seem to abuse auto-tune. If you need to use Auto-Tune then really are you a singer?

Her voice sucks , the lyric is rubbish but the song is very catchy! I bet if anybody can write another lyric and change the singer. the song would be up on billboard.

The lyrics are utter crap. I think anyone could probably write it better and just yeah. She is actually quite a good singer for her age, but it's not her type of song if im honest

the lyrics are no worse than the drivel that we hear on other pop artists songs. anyway the whole point of 'friday' isn't to focus on the lyrics - and if you are...wrong song to do so quite obviously
