Uses for an extra computer

I got a G4 iMac for my birthday in late December. I can use my main iMac's keyboard and mouse to control it with a program called synergy, and I love it quite a lot, however, these days it just sits there without a purpose.

Does anyone know anything cool I can run from it? The monitor is visible right to my left at all times so whatever I run I'd like it to be useful!

Umm. You could always like do GFX on that screen whilst your mucking around on your normal comp.

Main one can be used for main purpose/anything really..
So use the spare for more 'professional' ideas such as what Ouft said, graphics design.
Do it for more.. coding tasks (Scripts, designs etc.)

I have a stationary desktop at home that I use for graphics while I use my 10" laptop for coding tasks on the go.

Yeah. I use my laptop for browsing forums, Facebook, email etc.

Then my desktop is on 24/7, magic it is. Surprised it hasn't blown up tbh Desktop is used for gaming.

When I use my desktop & laptop together, I use the desktop for watching tv/films while doing something properly on the laptop, otherwise it's too easy to be distracted!

Why not actually put it to use and use it as a private server, to host all your files on.
