I'm thinking about making a couple of videos and guides to pop on youtube but I need some advice on what capture card/devise thingy to get. I want to be able to record in 1080i, would rather not need to have it hooked up to my comp to record, I have too many wires around the place already.

Price isn't really a problem but obviously this would be my first one so I don't wanna blow too much when chances are I'll barely use it.

I recommend Camtasia, It has a screen recording tool and some good editing tools

I haven't a slightest clue on xbox 360s but I've heard a lot of people use that to record their videos including a couple of my friends...
