on the site skin, at the top used to be the bit where you could click " qoute" "video" " picture" ect. and now its just dissapeared

Right I know what you mean.

It's not gone, your settings have just changed. If you go to User CP -> General Settings -> Miscellanious Options.

Find the "Messaging Interface" option and select the first one (full WYSIWYG editor)

Is that what you're asking?

Dunno, it did that to me quite a bit in 2007. It doesn't take long to resort them out though
