Default Windows 7 Crashes during Update

Windows downloads the update when it shuts down then when I boot it up crashes on 0% everytime, does anyone know what could be causing this? I thought it would just be a corrupt download but its happening on every boot up after the redownload. I have to first go into safe mode then restart which is getting annoying.

I don't think it says anywhere, I'll check next time I boot up.

Mine did that, wondered why it took so long, Luckily i just left it for half an hour, and when I came back it was fine. So i suggest just watch TV for half an hour and it should be ok

I had that on my laptop. It doesn't and shouldn't crash After about 5 minutes it will say "Update Failed - Reverting Changes" I believe... I watched it do that last night. Very strange

Usually when you do an update you get s spinning thing in the middle of the screen? If that hasn't stopped then its not frozen.

I had this as well.. I powered down against advice when it stuck at nought. 2 reboots later and I'm on.
