    Default coding help needed

    RE: http://habbofm.net/4.gif

I've purchased a layout from Kixar but i'm having trouble, I though it'd be js/ajx coding, but the navigation wont load the other sub-navs when you click "radio - community - etc" - Causing me to think maybe i need to change it and add iframes for the subnav.

Secondly, the content box (the white and red border box) I was told to create about.html and the content will automatically be placed into the iframe, just link the navigation links to the page.. yet it opens a new window with just the cotent no border.

So.. I've removed the content box and made it an iframe with a page entitled home.html (see here) Now I'm wanting to add the content area box into the home.html however when I paste it, just the content shows, no border.

I'm wondering if anyone with experience and a free moment to create me a home.html containing a similar border which will surround my content.

I can't pay for your assistance, but I can name you on the footer of the website for coding.

Well first, you can use either PHP or ajax/java. Doesn't matter really.
I'm sure someone will help you out on that one since I'm still learning it.

However, my strong points are CSS/HTML.
What you could do, make a "Dummy" layout first. This can ensure coding is fine if done right.
With the content box, fill everything up. Make sure it looks like the image once coded.
Once done, slowly take out bits and pieces and replace them with other coding.
For example, <?php includes('home.html')> (I think?? >.>) and it should load the home page.

I wouldn't use iframes though, they tend to look ugly and you have to set variables half the time.

Every time I'd code in something new, I would always trial and error EVERYTHING.
Well, if that doesn't help, I will get into more detail..
Just send a PM or something as I'm not active a lot due to school now.

Have you still got the code?
Zip what you have and I can give the coding a crack.

Just watermark everything to ensure trust.
Don't want to be claimed to steal everything etc. But do please PM me if you're willing.

If I have to, I'll try and work with ajax but if not. I'll find a way!
