iPhone 3g Screen Dust

So on my iPhone 3G I've got quite a lot of dust under the screen, I've been looking around and found that this is quite a familiar problem, some people even say they can swap the iPhone for a new 3G! So ok just thinking before I do any thing, does anyone else have or had this problem? If so what have you done or doing about it? I'm in UK by the way!

Take a hairdryer to the screen - but put it on cold, LOL
