Would you ever be a stay at home parent? Would you care if your husband / you if you're a male wanted to stay home whilst the female in the relationship worked instead?

What if you're in a civil partnership? Homophobe!! ;l

I suppose it depends on how much money is rolling in before you can make a decision like that.

This is a really difficult one as I am a bit old fashioned when it comes to children. I would love a career but like to stay home in the early years before school if financial circunstances allow it or maybe work from home during this time. If no children then no I would not want to stay at home and I would not expect my partner/husband to do it either.

I personally could never be a stay at home parent, i have too many career aspirations to just sit and home and do basically **** all :/ not my kinda thing.

I believe in the work being shared equally between the parents, thus both earning a decent income means a lot more high quality chilled out lifestyle.

I wouldn't be able to be a stay at home parent, maybe for the first year in the childs life, or maybe until they start going to nursery, I wouldn't like to stay at home looking after the children all day, but then again, if we was earning enough money I would.

I'm very old-fashioned and right-wing in my views on this. My view is 'Women may have jobs however their first and foremost priority is to be mothers and home makers' however I love kids so I'd have no problem doing part-time each if we earned enough. But I'd never be completely jobless so my wife could have a job.

I wouldn't like to be a stay at home mum, I wouldn't mind for the first couple of years of my child's life if possible but after that I would want to work again.
