    Default Favourite Movie Scenes

I was just watching a scene from a film I love and I was like "aww I love this scene". So what are your favourite movie scenes?

There's quite a few scenes from The Hangover that I love but some aren't appropriate (A)

You'll probably all find mine boring but it's a film I've watched a lot growing up, I love the song and it's such a nice film :

God... far too many to mention. I could sit typing all day and I would have barely scratched the surface. I'll go through my DVD collection quickly and see what scenes pop to mind. Although I say quickly but I'll actually take ages.

    - The final action sequence and ending in Akira Kurosawa's 'Seven Samurai' - the ultimate testament to how fantastic an action sequence can be with a little elbow grease as opposed to digital effects.
    - The Bank robbery and 'painters' scene in Takeshi Kitano's 'Hana-bi'. I truly believe the robbery scene is by far the best cinema has to offer and the painters scene actually produced a few tears from me. It was just so touching, mesmerizing and beautiful.
    - The climax and a handful of the montages in the Japanese film 'Confessions'. Seriously mind-blowing stuff.
    - Match-point between Peco and Dragon in the Japanese film 'Ping Pong' along with the 'I can fly' sequence and the final match between Peco and Smile with the fade to white accompanied by [Ma-O]'s track 'Angelic Butterfly'.
    - Pretty much EVERY scene from 'All About Lily Chou-Chou'. In my opinion, the film is one of the most wonderfully shot pieces of cinema EVER. To name a few specific scenes - Tsuda with the kites, Yuichi in the field and Kuno walking into class with her head shaved after having been raped a few scenes prior.
    - The final sequence in 'Tokyo Sonata' - the Clair de Lune performance. Mesmerizing.
    - The elder monks climatic sequence in 'Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter... and Spring' just to name one of many in such a beautifully shot and wonderfully directed film.
    - The hallway fight and final sequence in Park Chan-Wook's 'Oldboy'.
    - The sequence in 'Hana and Alice' of Alice spending time with her dad along with the ballet performance.
    - The final sequence in 'House of Flying Daggers'.
    - The ending of Satoshi Kon's 'Millennium Actress' (never fails to make me cry) along with the opening credits in his other film 'Paprika'.
    - So many scenes in 'This is England'.
    - The climatic pool scene from 'Let The Right One In'.
    - The final sequences from The Shawshank Redemption. You know the ones.
    - Batty's final scene and lines from 'Blade Runner'.
    - So many scenes from 'The Lord of the Rings' trilogy.
    - The climax in 'Ghost in the Shell'.
    - The final scene in 'Quadrophenia'.
    - The walking in the air sequence from 'The Snowman'.
    - The final panning out shot in 'Into the Wild'.

Gonna stop before I am here all night, but I think I covered the main ones. My all-time favourites are in bold. I'll post some videos below, not that anyone is interested.

Wow. Just... wow. Are you actually serious? Not to mention within my editing limit, too...

Also adding to my list - the climatic and final sequence in 'The Man Who Stole The Sun' along with the rock, paper, scissors scene from Takeshi Kitano's 'Sonatine'. Pretty much every single film from Kitano has multiple favourite-worthy sequences. The man is a genius.

And since this is a new post I guess I can embed my videos now.

So far, my favorite movie was 'While you were sleeping'. There's Sandra bullock in it and it's the best movie ever. My favorite scene of it was when Sandra Bullock's about to marry the other guy and then Bill Pullman came in and they confessed their love. This movie is so sweet and I watched it for like a trillion times(i was jkn). I think everybody should watch it!

There's another shooting today, and this one was bad
I'm glad that we all hope and pray, but it takes more than that
We've been trying, we've been crying
Hoping that they will do more than keep lying
I need to believe that people can change
Or else this life has all been in vain
What's the point of fighting if we're fighting for a lie?
