right i've been wanting to dip dye my hair for awhile now

my original was gonna just be to have brown hair n dip dye the ends blonde right
but my friend has asked can she do that and that shes already got it sorted so i was like :rolleyes:

so i was thinking... what about black ends.. or would that just look so gross? i dunno maybe im weird i just think it'd be nice... like even i know i'm ginger enough already but if i got like a BLONDE hair dye from the shop n used that, it would make my hair really light gingery brown, and then do the bottoms black?

my only other option is blue at the bottom but i dont want to look like a 14 yr old emo girl

I quite liked that tbh but not so much purple.

Try the blonde and see if it works, if it don't try the black. Either would look ok.

i'm not mad on colours, i only like blue on people
all the examples i have suck cos nobody goes black at the bottom but i feel it could work
but there must be a reason nobodys doing it?

shes the only one i've seen who goes darker


mine would prob be similar but the ends darker than that

The one on the right looks like her roots really need doing and not just dipped. The one with the blue looks really good though.


I know your hair is darker than that but that kinda looks ok?

yeah i do like that but because hers is blonde it could really be throwoffy
i think what i'm gonna do is, go lighter the cheap way by using like the lightest shade of permanent blonde
which will make my hair light brown... then use a 1-2 wash black one on the ends, and i'll get a blue one to try
you know those ****** things you can buy in boots....
whichever looks okay i'll do it permanent... OK wish me luck

Sounds like a plan. Do blue > black though not black > blue to see which you prefer.

Are you trying to get ombre hair? I would honestly do it slightly more natural and not just dip your hair ends but paint it a little bit up your hair and make it different lengths & layers for a more blended look :L Or just dip it, depends what look your doing for!

i have two different shades of brown in my hair with blonde, do the blonde or the black who cares about if your friend has it xx
