    Default Work Notice?

Right here's the thing, I passed my interview for McDonalds and I'll be starting soon (...yay). Only reason for this job is because it offers more hours than my current job. My current job is a weekend & half term kinda job without a contract. I've worked 13 hours for this job this month.

I'm going in today to tell my boss I'm leaving. Do I have to give a two-week notice?

I don't really understand how it all works.

    Cheers.

You can just walk in and say Bye! but It's nice to give them notice

There's another shooting today, and this one was bad
I'm glad that we all hope and pray, but it takes more than that
We've been trying, we've been crying
Hoping that they will do more than keep lying
I need to believe that people can change
Or else this life has all been in vain
What's the point of fighting if we're fighting for a lie?

If you haven't agreed to contracted hours I believe you can just quit.

    Not entirely sure though!

Considering there is no contract stating periods of notice that need to be given, you could simply even just phone them to let them know you're going - no notice need at all!

I you haven't signed a contract with them you can just walk in and say you don't want your job with them anymore.
