    Hi,
I'm going to do a day of Work Shadowing at a newspaper on Friday and I've been told the dress code is "smart for an office".

I'm guessing this means shirt and tie, but do you think black suit jacket too?

    Thank you!

I would wear a shirt & tie with a jacket the first day and then you can see what the others are wearing for the rest of the week. Sounds really interesting!

I don't think the jacket is necessary, just wear a shirt and tie!
    Hope it goes well Mathew
