It's actually so frustrating when someone posts something on the forum in relation to Sam Broadcaster and it get moves into the habboxlive section. I personally think it should go into the technology section. I'm not quite sure why anything relating to Sam Broadcaster requesting advice normally gets moved into that section, it makes me feel like those moving the threads think no-one else on the forum has a clue about Sam Broadcaster.

Without shooting down habboxlive djs allot of their advice regarding Sam broadcaster is just plain right silly. I'm not quite sure why habboxlive is still recommending Sam broadcaster 2 over Sam broadcaster 4, fair enough at the early stages Sam Broadcaster 4 it had allot of flaws but now it's on steady grounds and those flaws have been repaired. Without a doubt Sam Broadcaster 4 is the best online broadcasting program to date and yes I am aware they have different bitrates but once the djs stick to the same kb/s and either stereo or mono it works perfectly.

So can I ask, whenever someone asks for help allow the public to offer their advice rather than cutting us off by putting it in a forum a regular member can't post in.

I agree there, I don't think it should be moved to the HxL forum thing because DJ's don't know everything, most forum members know more about what their saying, but are being like blanked from the post.

Although I totally understand your point the reason why I moved that particular thread to that section is because she specified that she applied to be a DJ and she said that she downloaded sam 4, I thought a DJ could answer and offer her help and point her in the right direction. If anyone else wishes to help they can always PM in these particular cases

I think there was a thread about SAM4 ages ago, something to do with Bitrates and all that technical stuff, tbh I think we shouldn't be trying to fix something that isn't broken.

I'm not blaming anyone I'm just saying it's a huge flaw and it sucks. I'm pretty sure you don't need to be habboxlive staff to answer something regarding sam broadcaster. My point is why should we have to pm them when it could be put in a forum where both habboxlive djs and regular members can reply? The habboxlive section says "Ask any questions about HabboxLive here" sam broadcaster does relate to habboxlive, yes but it isn't actually about the department. That's like someone making a thread "Hey I'm looking for a plugin for vbulletin 4" and a moderator moving it into the "Forum & Moderation" section.

This is like moving all threads about graphics into a section that only graphics staff could post in. Just because she applied to be a dj does not mean that non-djs are not competent enough to provide her with answers.

What are you on about? I mentioned both versions can work together, that doesn't mean I said habboxlive must change. This thread is about regular users not being able to help with silly things like this.

No, what I'm trying to say is that a thread about using SAM2 and SAM4 was made ages ago, they both have varying bit-rates which means the radio be of varying quality, which would get annoying.

But yeah I agree with having regular users being able to help.

Radio djs are of varying quality anyway. If you're a good dj it wouldn't really matter what broadcasting software you're using lol. some people have clearer mics than others etc

Although this is going off topic, the bitrate wouldn't really change once both djs are using mono and have the same kb/s. I'm pretty sure habboxlive don't allow sam broadcaster 4 because they are afraid of delayed changeovers, causing the radio to go offline. That is irrelevant though as the thread isn't aimed towards that.
