Starting a new business, so I need a new web host/web domain, but i'm not sure where to get one from.
There's so many to choose from (I know to stay away from godaddy) so please recommend some.
+rep for everyone.

For webhosting i used to go with x10hosting - For free sign up they offer un-metered bandwidth and disk space & cPanel 11 & Custom Account Panel.
Stable, profitable free hosting that you can really rely on.
Information from Net Review
Best Value Hosting June 2011: Network Solutions
Excellent value for a new startup blog or website for the non tech savvy user. If you can stay within Network Solution's step-by-step registration and startup procedure you will have a website or blog up and running in no time. Their basic $3.99 hosting account is suitable for setting up multiple (up to 25) blog sites or small websites. There are several upgrade options available if you outgrow disk space or bandwidth. Customer support was responsive, patient and knowledgeable. Even if you have no experience in setting up a website you should feel comfortable asking for help. Highly recommended!
Best cPanel Hosting June 2011: Hostgator
Hostgator remains our Top cPanel Web Hosting Provider. If you prefer with cPanel hosting and the option of a WHM control panel then we are sure Hostgator will not disappoint. 24/7 Support via a live helpdesk or online Chat will get your questions answered. Even posting a support ticket will generaly give you feedback within minutes. Compared to many of the other cPanel Hosting Providers, we find hosting and FTP speed superior. Take advantage of their Baby Plan which offers a Dedicated IP at $2.00 per month.
Avoid:
Based on our experiences and negative user feedback we no longer recommend these companies:
Hosting Companies:
Avoid Apollo Hosting - See "I Don't Trust Apollo Hosting" for more information
Avoid 1&1 Internet Web Hosting and Domain Name Services - Dubious!!
Avoid FatCow - VERY poor performance. A single page website may be OK - a WordPress Blog is a definate NO.
Domain Registrars:
Avoid TZO Domain Registrars and DNS Services - Rotten customer service

UK2.Net is amazing, all my sites are usually hosted on that, great support and had no downtime since it got purchased over a year ago.
Even if you end up on a ****** domain host, it's easily transferred to another host for a small fee - sometimes free.
I'm trying to move all my domains away from UK2, they're epic the first year but you can't do anything snazzy with the DNS like register name servers unless you pay up and you have to fork out something like £20 to transfer a domain. I'd steer well clear of these cowboys.
Domains, as above, 123-Reg, Namecheap and Network Solutions
Hosting: SimplexWebs.com
Namecheap are brilliant, I have never had any problems whatsoever![]()
I Would Go With 123 Web Hosts, But I Have Looked Into This In The Past And I Have Got To warn You. Some Sell You The Domain For Like £2 Per Month, And Then Charge £5 Extra Hosting And Then Depending On What You Use (HTML) Or Other Things There May Be A Additional Charge.
Just To Warn You.
For hosting, depends on what your business would contain!
For domain names.. I won't recommend GoDaddy since others seem to not like it..
I used to use: ComputingHost
They were excellent to me, had great hosting support and what not.
If you're looking for a free host, try out BinHoster.
They're somewhat new and provide 10GB disk space with unlimited everything else, use free hosts first then pay for hosting if your business would grow.
