"crap my dad says..."

"**** my dad says" is a programme on one of those spin-off channel five cable channel's.

It got me giggling because of the stuff my dad come's away with, especially in general life like in regards to housework, my choices in life etc .

So, the point of this thread is to come away with the quip's and general humorous comments your parent's/adults in your life have commented to you or in regards to something whether it be the neighbours or the family pet!

A few weeks back I was standing in the kitchen making my everyone a cup of tea/coffee whilst my dad was lounging on the worktop chatting with me.

(I pulled the tea bag box out the cupboard) and he came away with
"Oh for a week i went without a cup of tea because I had no idea we had teabags?"
"Dad we've had two boxes in there for about a month?"
"Yeah well that box is red? I thought it was gravy or something?"

He's used to tetley's tea bags (a blue box) not PG tips or whatever it was (which was red!)

IN REFERANCE TO A BADLY DRESSED WOMAN ON SOME QUIZ SHOW:
"Oh hell someone should get her gok wong (ie gok wan) cos **** me she's dressed in a binbag.

one from my stepmum -
she was discussing two of something she bought, my dad had said..
"oh she spent three pound on them."
stepmum -
"No they cost £1.50 each, actually!"

I truly wonder how I turned out as normal as I am!
