Angry What do you do to keep motivated

Struggling past my slayer task as normal. What do you do to stay motivated because I'm logging out every like 5 black dragons I kill especially when I bank I log out.

I used to be never off Runescape ahhh.

I cancelled the black dragon task because they're just so boring and even if you kill babies the only company you have is green dragon bots. You should find a clan full of likeminded people. If you like slayer, join a slaying clan, if you like skilling, join a skilling clan, if you like * join a * clan. There are plenty of clans for simply socialising out there too

Taking a break every hour or so is natural, it would be unhealthy to stay on the game for hours on end. If you're bored of slayer then have you considered training a different skill or playing a minigame?

I would say that doing it with your friends is your best option! Just think of the rewards that could come from it!

I Normally always make sure I have a Movie or Boxset on when i'm playing tbh, that usually keeps me motivated purely as I generally watch comical shizzle.

I'm a member of a slayer clan, so chatting with friends helps make things more enjoyable. As for goals, I sometimes race friends to see who can reach the level first etc. It makes you more eager to train and actually makes it more fun for me.

I also like to take breaks in between skilling, and go on herb runs, complete slayer tasks or play a game of Castle Wars to break up the monotony of training, but it's whatever you find relaxing. Some people like PKing, others enjoy boss hunting, quests or just bank standing with friends.

I think kyle is correct, try finding a clan that relates to what you like to do

i joined a mining/smithing clan cos i like to do both of them and it was good cos it provided some general banter to pass the time while doing things. with the changes to the clan system a while back i havent really tried to rejoin. i should do it really but i cba.

The other thing I do is set myself small goals so if I want to mine 8k coal, id have a goal of 10 trips just to keep some form of motivation. 10 down, [x] to go. I think everyone does that naturally! There's also taking a break and going off and getting something else up that's slightly easier than what you're already doing even if it's just one of those stupid achievement things. Mostly I just listen to music though (my own not the rs stuff) and that tends to pass the time.

I just listen to music and make sure I change the skills I train regularly as well as going for a PK every now & then
