    Default My Portfolio

    Hey

I have finally finished my portfolio, I am still developing it, I am currently about to brighten up the content and make it a lil more interesting!

Please give me your thoughts and anything I should add,

    Cheers!

    Well which is it?

The picture of you needs some padding on the right.
    Remove the apostrophe from "logo's".
Is the top of the website supposed to look like this (http://awesomescreenshot.com/08fel512a)? If not, I'm using Chrome if that helps you fix it. If yes, it looks weird.
I think the links in the nav should be reordered, portfolio should be second.
On the portfolio page, the title for the image previews should go on top of the image.
Lastly, it's just not a good website design. The designs in your portfolio look better than your actual portfolio, which is the first thing potential clients will judge you on.

Anywho, that's just what I noticed from a quick browse, could need more adjustments.

Thanks for the feedback! The ones I highlighted in red I am working on and personally I dont see anything wrong with the order of the links nor the title of the image previews, and it not being a good design is your opinion, I wont be changing the design at the moment as Ive just done it. Thanks for feedback!

For the nav link order: I just think it's more important for your portfolio to be easier to find than a page showing your birthday and hobbies, and the slight change in link order does actually have an effect.
Image preview titles: Titles traditionally go at the top, so that is how the potential clients will expect it to be arranged, and will cause them to be temporarily confused. You are trying to sell yourself to them, you need to remove anything that could cause confusion.

Also, I just noticed that everything in red (why red?) at the top is unnecessary. The links are already in the nav bar and the email can be moved into the contact page, the home page and possibly the about page.
Oo, and the FAQ on the contact page (weird place to put it) needs a few small correction like changing 'complex' to 'complexity'.

It's all of the tiny refinements like this that have massive effects on your success rate.

Thank you I think I will remove top bar!

I have now altered everything you said, thank you once again. I may redesign as I have a few ideas in my head. Cheers!

Some of the designs in your portfolio are great, but your portfolio design doesn't quite live up to the rest of it if i'm honest. A good start for sure, but the website you're selling yourself from is probably one you should go all out on.

Yeah I am redesigning now, I am not happy with it myself. I need to spend more time on it!

    Cheers for feedback
