Tables Tutorial - Thanks To Splintercell

I saw No tables tutorials and i had trouble making a layout so i thought people who struggled like me should be helped splintercell expained it so easily

Ok what you have to understand is how a table is set out

so to make a table like this you would

Ok so to make that you go

<tr>
<td>CELL ONE!</td>
</tr>

<td>CELL THREE!</td>
</tr>

Tr= Starts new row
TD= New column

o to make a layout you need to break it up into bits that will fit in tables.

For example you have your nav box:

so you cut up the box its three segments using a slice tool and then put the top bit of the box in the top colum a backbround bit in the next colum and the footer in the next colum::

im sure ive seen somebody advertise that layout to be coded before, and tables are soooooooo easy to make theres not much point in writing a tutorial in most places you just click a button fill in how many rows / columns you want and click ok "/

Well, you probably won't get all the coding, but have you got any website editing program, if you do just put them in yourself within a few clicks.

Argh, ED, you have used the tables in frontpage on your site. I had this problem. You aren't using the correct ones...
