Plug Socket Help.

Is it okay if I have this many appliances coming from one socket? This is how it goes.

Root Plug > Extension Cable 1 (PC, Monitor, Speakers, Extension Cable 2) > Extension Cable 2 (HD PVR, External HDD, External HDD, Extension Cable 3) > Extension Cable 3 (Xbox, Wii, PS3, Printer)

I only have 1 plug socket in my room :{ but most of the time like half of the stuff isnt even on.

I personally wouldn't say that's OKAY because these fireman people gave me a lecture that you shouldn't ever have an extension plugged into an extension if that's what you're using? However I do that myself :|

no offense but are you so lazy you couldnt swap the console ones around? Also why do you have 2 external HDDs? :S It's not the best idea and tbh I get paranoid with my set up of one extension lead + one of those 3 plug things.

It's not good connecting one extender to another, because it can overheat or burn out. I buying an 10 gang extension, it will reduce the power dramatically compared to two 4 gang extensions.

if they are all on at the same time, you will draw too much current. The worst the will happen is it will melt through your cables, starting a fire.

As advised before me, either swap your plugs round as and when you use each appliance or buy a bigger extension(10 socket or w/e).

If you really want to keep this you should move the speakers on to your second extension cable and plug the third straight into the first. Ideally you want to get the plug replaced with a double or triple one as it'll be much safer due to less cables.
