Default Marine Life and Aquatic Life - what's the difference?

I have a interview for a college work placement at the Sea Life Centre, and I'm trying to think of an answer for "Why do you want to do your work placement here?"

I was thinking of answering it by saying something along the lines of "I've all ways been interested in Aquatics so I thought this would be the best place as there is a wide ranger and variety of aquatic life here for me to gain experience with"

But then my sister told me it would be best to say Marine Life and Aquatic Life, but what are the difference between the both?
