Sony have hit nintendoU back with the new Playstation Vita...

The gameplay looks pretty cool... it looks like a normal PSP though.

Its pretty much the same system except more powerful, touch screens and dual analogs. In a way, the change from PSP>Vita makes as much difference (but not in the same way) as DS>3DS. This looks much better than the PSP and I will most likely get one. Also the transfarring is nice too

Never liked the feel of a psp, wouldn't say they're very well designed.

It still needs it's own thread though, really.

I will be picking one up depending on the release titles.

Played with it yesterday. It's ok, but not worth £230 of my money. I kept accidentally hitting the right analogue stick instead of the X button, they're too close and the analogue stick feels more natural as a button haha.

I reckon the price will drop hugely after christmas to be honest -same as the 3DS did.

    Naa.

    3DS - Uk release price = £230. Now £130.
    US release price = $250. Now $165

Not as drastic in the US as in the UK retailers picked the price, giving us the bad end of the deal as normal! However, a price drop is fairly standard in this sort of product (although not as drastic as £100!
