Default When You Have A Baby...

When you have a baby, by law does it have to have your, or the other sides second name? Or can you give it their own second name?

It's just a random question in my head that I wondered haha. Of course I'd want my kids named after me!

    Eurgh, you're such an egotist.

If you kept track of Michael Jackson's children's names you'd know that you could call it Asshat if you wanted to.

Searches up egotist and finds "2. a self-interested person; egoist". Please explain how me wondering about names comes into that. And if you read more carefully, I'm on about 2nd names. Planket Jackson is obviously allowed, yes!

You can name your child Google <whatever> if you want to... Futurama said so.

are you spamming? the whole point of the thread is if you have to give your childs the 2nd name of the mum or dad, or can you give it there own 2nd name.. not first name, obviously you can give them whatever first name you want.

    That's what I meant by the '<whatever>'

Searches up egotist and finds "2. a self-interested person; egoist". Please explain how me wondering about names comes into that.

In the UK you can give the child any last name you want (within reason I'm sure).
