    I have induction week tomorrow and i have no idea what classes as 'smart'.
    and i cannot decide whether or not I like this:

    'smart' in my school was a black/grey jumper w/ shirt with black/grey trousers and black shoes

    That's the same for me, I would probably say lose the t-shirt and get a normal white shirt, add a jumper or cardigan.

    Meh they always ask for "smart" and people don't bother dressing up proper smart anyway so that should be fine

    Our's was smart casual, no one listened, we all wore t-shirts and jean etc in sixth form.

    You should be fine, they don't normally want you to be AS smart in sixth form. I wore chinos, shirt and vans .. you shoudl be fine

    Well my friend's code is smart and they HAVE to wear proper suits.
    But if you turn up in that you can gauge what other people are wearing as it's semi smart and neutral, basically smart casual
