Right, I need a new laptop as mine is getting very old now and its always burning hot! So I made this thread so that you lot could help me to find a laptop, I want you to recommend good laptops and some features!

Yeah, what's your price range? I use a Macbook Pro and I love it. It also depends on what you're using it for. If you only need it for internet browsing and word documents, a cheaper Windows laptop or netbook might be a good choice.

My price range is probably around £400/£500
