I think you should deffo change back to a normal small bar, and if it carrys on bleeding get it checked out to see if its infected!

I've just changed back to my normal belly bar that I got pierced with but it's quite big and there's a lot of bar showing at the top

If it's infected it won't bleed, it'll sort of pus. It might be where the dangly one is catching on specific tops like lacey ones or tighter ones

don't wear dangly bars after not having it done that long! Bleedings clearly not a good sign and could lead to infection. It can take 3 months to a year for a belly button piercing to heal so if it's bleeding either change back to the original bar or get a shorter one. Just not a dangly frilly one.

i honestly wouldnt worry about it
just clean it regularly with a saline solution, it will be fine
if the jewelry isn't comfortable (because its pressing against your skin), that would be the only reason id change it
