Default A way to track keystrokes? [+22 REP!]

I'm just wondering if there's any way to track keystrokes on my own computer? Like a keylogger for myself but without the virus aspect.

I don't intend on using it in a malicious way, simply for personal use.

So i'm just wondering if there's any software or self-coded method to this? Literally just track keystrokes in a .txt file or something - no remote tracking or anything weird like that.

    Thanks!

    +Rep to all help!

    Any keylogger will do it.

The problem you may have is your security suite. All keyloggers are in a sense a type of virus Whether used for good or for bad but you should be able to put it into a safe list possibly with your AV

I've now found one called "Hooker". Very simple yet just what I needed.
