"One-Time Awards" Section

Heyo,

This isn't a major issue, but since they seem to be custom headers "Habbo-Based Awards" I don't think it'll be that difficult to fix. This suggestion is about the Awards Section: http://www.habboxforum.com/awards.php

Basically, the awards section is clogged up with a bunch of awards that won't ever be used again, or if so, sparingly. I think part of the pull of having the awards listed is so that new members can look down the list and see what they can achieve. Don't get me wrong - the one-time awards are certainly achievements and deserve to be recognized, however right now they're clogging up the two sections and making it confusing what's actually available and what isn't.

My suggestion is fairly simple, create a "One-Time-Awards" or "Limited Edition Awards" Section below the current two.

Awards that would go here:

World Cup Predictions
Big Brother
Christmas Cracker 2010
Bunny Hunt
etc. etc.

Put that on the bottom below the other two, as I think it's more useful for new members to see what they can achieve.

SUGGESTION TWO:

I'd also suggest taking the years off of awards, particularly those that are done often. I get the idea of wanting to make it special, ie: if you win HxSS this year you'll have a badge that nobody else will, but yearly events are exclusive enough that it won't be that easy to win and also it prevents clutter - Habbox has been going for over 8 years now and probably has many more on the way - creating a new set of awards every time will result in a LOT of awards.

PS: Why is one called "Forum Based Awards" and the other "Awards given for Habbo Based Activities"? It's not a big deal, but could we make them match perhaps?

Great suggestions. Would be nice if there was some way to remove awards as well. I don't really want a 5 Year Milestone award when I have a 6 Year one.

And wow when I pop out my awards my post ELONGATES. That's weird.

In all seriousness this is a good idea, especially considering the amount of scrolling required to get to awards that you can actually get.

This is a good idea, not because you're on team blue or anything ofc.

Anyhow, on a serious note I agree, I have the HxCC (Christmas Cracker) award and as it was a one off (I think) then it shouldn't have the year on.

Good suggestion, I will create another category and put the one off awards in it at the bottom of the page as there's no point in having them at the top if nobody can get them. I will rearrange the awards so that the ones that you are able to request (like joining the Habbo group, facebook, twitter etc.) are all nearer or at the top of the page so that it's easier for newer members to be able to see which awards they are able to request.

I have no idea but I will get them changed so that both of them match!

Knitpicking here but I've been moaning about this since these awards came out:

Gold Winner
For winning a Habbox Event or Competition

Silver Winner
Winning an Event/Competition

Bronze Winner
For winning a Competition/Event

PLEAAAAAAASE can we have these consistent?! It looks so silly all on the same topic but slightly different because it makes them look like as if they're different things. The details are right but silver needs to be "2nd" and bronze needs to be "3rd".

Completely forgot about awards, they're barely seen in my opinion.

But yes, details such as this are always good! Make every page on Habbox and its sites looking perfect!

I've just noticed that there's no link to the Awards pagevon the top bar for the classic skin. Perhaps this should be added?
