I'm looking to purchase a Digital Camera (or what Argos calls an Advanced Compact Camera), but I don't want to spend anymore than £150-£200 really.
I was looking at the Canon Powershot ELPH 300 HS which seems to be good but doesn't seem to be out in the UK yet, and I don't know what the price is yet
Anyhow, if you have any suggestions then please post them. I'll mainly use it for photo rather than video but I'd still like at least 720p video capture

Just found out that it's known as the Canon Xius 220 HS in the UK (A). It's around £200 which is the most I'd pay so I don't know yet

I would prefer a new one. I considered a DSLR but decided to go for a compact digital camera instead
