It's back on our screens from Wednesday!
Just wondering, did everyone know that this is the last series that will be set in Rochdale?! See HERE!

Yeah I heard a while back it's moving to scotland. The advert that I've been seeing the past week looks weird with all the new changes with the head teacher, but I am looking forward to it though!
In my opinion it's important to make it fresh each series as, with a drama set in a school, there is only so many storylines. Also, they don't really have a choice about constantly renewing the cast as kids grow up so it's wouldn't make sense if they hung around for years on end. The same can be said for teachers aswell as they tend to move around quite a lot during their careers![]()
Omigosh is it really? I hope they continue Jess and Aiden's pregnancy, Vicki and Ronan's relationship, and I hope Kyle, Finn, Amy, Lauren and everyone else is still in it. Oh, and Grantly Budgen![]()
Still 20 more episodes in this series. None of the cast have been confirmed for the next series but some are definitely going to Scotland with the show after an "explosive" end in early 2012
What is it with the BBC and wanting to move all its programmes away from London and even England now for that matter?
This has got to be one of the worst moves by the sounds of it.
How unrealistic. As if all the Teachers and students would suddenly decide to move to Scotland. It is understood that viewers will see an "explosive" storyline air in early 2012 resulting in a group of existing teachers and pupils setting up a new independent school in Scotland, which will also use the Waterloo Road name.
Jordan
We'll have to wait and see, I'm sure they'll manage it though![]()
I agree tbh. Well actually the worst decisions they make are having huge storylines then never referring to them once they're over, infact I doubt that returning music/drama teacher (whatever he is) even asks about Sam despite having fostered her. What is it with the BBC and wanting to move all its programmes away from London and even England now for that matter?

I don't get, if they want to set up shows in Scotland, that they feel the need to take existing shows and move them. Soon we'll see Holby City move to Northern Ireland and happen to be in a city with the exact same name. I hope we don't get a bunch of annoying scots that no one can understand in the show.
And finally, this moving + the final series of spooks has to be one of the worst years (in a good way) of TV for me![]()
The school gets blown up. So unrealistic.
