New Comp?

Yeah I'm bored and I've had this computer for 1 or 2 years now so considering getting a new computer

Anyways recommend etc heres what I have so far:

Comes to something like £860

Also I need a new mouse and keyboard (atm i have microsoft optical mouse + saitek keyboard, both old )

But yeah suggest keyboard/mouse and possible upgrades to those.

Drop the 2600k to a 2500k and get a decent cpu cooler on there with the £60 saving. You lose 0.1ghz (And a couple of i7 features which aren't useful to anyone), but you can gain loads in being able to OC better (Or just the system running cooler). Also make sure the case doesn't just look nice, having easy to use fittings and it being quiet is really awesome.

Also the touchscreen seems like a neat idea now, but down the road you'll probably just realise it's pointless.

If you have any more money I'd sink it into the graphics card, especially since you're going for such a top of the range CPU.

Also your motherboard is a chipset behind, current intel chipset is z68, not major, just better really. Also you seem to have gone for an overkill motherboard for what you need, especially considering the motherboard isn't really going to affect the speed, you should only go for the motherboard with the ports you need. You can put that money into making the system faster.

The case is the same as one I'm currently using that's why i went with it

I've added a 60GB Agility 3 SSD, changed PSU to 650W Modular, and changed RAM to G-Skill 8GB 1600Mhz, changed process to the i5 2500k.

I'm looking for suggestions on a different gfx card possibly, and possibly different mobo.

Coolermaster cases are pretty nice, if you want to make a serious investment in one then a cosmos is pretty awesome in terms of bays, noise cancelling, cooling etc., otherwise the HAF series looks very solid in terms of cooling and in terms of convenience for installation.

The Corsair 650D is reportedly very good for enthusiasts with a open back to the motherboard mount for easy addition of coolers requiring backplates, loads of cable management options etc.

If you can afford it I would upgrade to a 120GB SSD because 60GB can fill it pretty fast if you don't keep a hawk eye on the drive (W7 is 20GB base, several GBs added in updates, service pack etc. - Games and programs, particularly suites can run up to 5GB each)

Alot of ones have a front bit you need to open but I cba with that and the computer is near a part of a desk so limited space in front of it, HAF doesn't have side panels from what i see (see through ones)

Replaced 60GB with the 120GB.

Only thing i need suggestions on now is the graphics card I think

You can't really improve on the graphics without doubling the cost of it, the only thing I'd suggest is going for the x2 variant of the one you have now so it'll be roughly 2x faster (It's basically internal crossfire). Also make sure the card isn't too long for the case, lots of the ATi cards are really long, my old one nearly didn't fit in my case, the cables for it stick into some HDD bays, the NVidia cards are much smaller on the other hand.

Should be more than enough room according to specs for case/gfx card.
