Well on my main now I have:
42 mage
25 Range
4 Attack =\
1 Strength
4 Defence
35 Runecrafting
Tuns of stuff
And im combat 29.
I dont know if I should continue on with him to get my combat up, or work on a pure???

Your total level is rubbish? And your only good at 1 or 2 things.
Stick with your guy, and work on all the levels.

A pure is there to have fun, Many players of runescape do have a 'Main' or 'Base' account, they just have alot of pures, If you get them to a high amount of stat then they can hit rather well and stake alot.
Total level means nothing.
