FN Keys

On a laptop the f1 f2 etc etc keys are like rewind video mute and turn net off

how do i get the keys so i can use them like f1 f2 f3 for SAM commands?

dont hold the fn button when you press them...

I meant the actuall f1 keys etc how can i press them to use them as f1 f2 etc instead of mute buttons

It'll only mute if you're holding "fn" whilst pressing the key. If you're not, it'll be used normally.

I'm not holding 'fn' on my laptop theres loads of like things on the f1 f2 keys etc. and they do different thing, i want to know how i use f1 f2 etc. without triggering the things on the keys

Mine's the opposite way round, like I have to press FN to get the F1 F2 etc, and the normal buttons just mute it, try that?

By holding FN then if they do that without pressing it.

Then try it while holding 'fn' and see if it works that way .
