Fifa 12 - how to defend?

Apparently holding "A" or "X" (if you play PS3) doesn't like work anymore.

Does anybody know like how to defend properly on there? lol

Whenever I hold A the player just seems to run near them, rather than actually doing anything remotely useful.

Is it this stuff about pressing B when you're near them, to sort of lunge at them?

You use B yes but it is very very useful, if you tap it when they're running in front of you, you pull their shirt , or you can just switch is back to legacy (For the nubs who can't handle the new system)

You get the old settings back from fifa 11 -

Thankfully legacy doesn't work online.

Quite like the new system, albeit it took me a bit to get used to it.

I downloaded the demo and I beat Man City 8-1 with Barcelona. I defended by using X to slide the **** out of the other team
