    Default Best Armour/Weap

If im gearing up to train combat/slayer, is whip and Bandos armour the best mix with a fury?

And is a DFS worth getting or keep a rune defender?

DFS is handy for dragon assigns (obviously) and for mobs that tend to hit quite hard i.e jadinkos but the money would be better spent elsewhere. Instead pick up a dragon defender; you get -1 str bonus over the shield but loads more attack stats making it better overall.

Slayer helm, barrows gloves, dragon boots (new boots might be better not sure) chaotic rapier / vine whip, dragon defender, berserker ring / ferocious ring (if in kuradals), fire cape / trimmed skill cape (fire cape is the better cape if not praying) and bandos chest plate + tassets is probably the optimum set up.

Probably missed something or some of it may be out dated but you can't really go wrong with the above.
